On Campus: 18th Annual LAACU El Regreso

The Columbia Alumni Association of Brooklyn would like to invite you to attend the 18th Annual El Regreso Gala on September 9th, 2017 to support the Latino Alumni Association of Columbia University (LAACU).  This year’s event promises to be one of their best yet, as the community comes together with friends and family to recognize and celebrate the diversity and achievements of the amazing Latino community!

This year’s Heritage Award winner and Keynote speaker—the Presiding Justice of the New York State Supreme Court's Appellate Division First Judicial Department, Columbia Trustee the Honorable Rolando T. Acosta, CC ’79, LAW '82.

Justice Acosta will also be joined on stage by his daughter Zila Acosta-Grimes CC '11 & LAW '15. In April of 2017, Ms. Acosta-Grimes received the Flor de Maga award as a rising young lawyer for her contributions to the Latino legal community.

Date: Saturday, September 9th 7-10pm

Time: Low Library Rotunda, Morningside Campus 

Dancing, music, wine, beer, and a family-style dinner will follow the program. Semi-formal attire.
